How did their contribution to war help?
Women contributed to the war by participating in auxiliary roles, by cooking and being farm worker as the soldiers were fed and able to remain healthy to stay on the battle field. The women were ambulance drivers and also fire truck drivers, this benefited the war as they were able to pick up wounded soldiers and treat them quickly, and also to control fires so that less people died and there were less damage. Women were interpreters so that different countries were able to communicate with each other. Even though all of these jobs majorly affected the war in some way the nurses made the biggest impact as they contributed to all of the roles, feeding the sick, treating them from the ambulance and many more.
